My client, a young adult between jobs

1. What were your main challenges and needs when you started coaching?

I wanted to feel more secure in myself and become clearer about my strengths, abilities and what I actually wanted in life. I also wanted to find a job that I would genuinely enjoy, improve my finances, build better relationships and move closer to having a place of my own. I needed help to focus on what really mattered to me and to make decisions with more confidence.

2. Why did you choose Linda as your coach?

Linda is a connection to a friend of the family. Someone in my family thought coaching would do me well and recommended Linda.

I felt that Linda had a way of asking questions that made me think deeper and find genuine answers within myself. I also appreciated her combination of coaching, guidance and practical advice. I felt that she could help me see things from a different perspective and move forward.

3. How satisfied are you with your development and progress?

I am very happy with the progress I have made. I have become more confident in myself and gained a much clearer understanding of my strengths, abilities and talents. This helped me quickly identify and apply for the right opportunities, and I have now started a job that I genuinely love.

I have also saved a considerable amount of money, which was one of my goals when we started. I have become more aware of the people and situations that give me energy and have started letting go of relationships and patterns that drain me. My relationship with my dad has improved and I find it easier to stand up for myself, say no and set boundaries, something that feels incredibly good.

Having my own home has also been an important goal, and today it feels much closer and more achievable.

4. What did you like most about Linda’s approach?

I really appreciated the questions Linda asked. They made me stop, reflect and find answers that felt genuinely mine. She guided me in a way I had not experienced before and helped me focus on the things that were truly important to me rather than getting caught up in everything else.

5. What are Linda’s greatest strengths as a mental trainer, coach and advisor?

Linda is very good at seeing the person as he/she is. She listens, asks questions that make you think in new ways and knows when to challenge you and when to guide you. She combines warmth and honesty with practical advice, and she has a great ability to help you see your own potential and turn insights into action.

6. Who do you think Linda is best suited to coach, and why?

I think Linda is especially good for people who feel that they are at a crossroad, who want to make a change or know that they want something more but aren’t quite sure what that looks like yet. She is particularly good at helping you find clarity, confidence and direction and then actually do something about it.

7. How would you describe your development throughout your coaching journey?

I feel much more secure in myself and much clearer about who I am, what I am capable of and what I want. I have taken concrete steps towards the life I want. I found a job I love, reached an important financial goal, improved relationships, become better at setting boundaries and moved closer to having my own home.

Most importantly, I feel more positive, hopeful and excited about what is ahead.
